Giving Back To The Community

Southcoast Construction works in and around our communities from Wellington to Taranaki and further. We like to give back and choose charities, fundraisers and sponsorships close to our heart, our homes and the people who make up our amazing team. Take a look at some of the work we’ve done in our communities below:

Taranaki

The Special Children’s Extravaganza in New Plymouth

We work with the Child Cancer Foundation, Heart Foundation, Variety the Children’s Charity, and many other local charities, community groups and schools.

Together they will nominate over 850 Taranaki and Wanganui Children who are suffering from one or more of the following:

• Terminal/ Life Threatening Illness
• Special Needs/ intellectual impairment
• Mental and Physical impairment
• Victims of sexual abuse/ domestic violence

For us, the Goal is simple – to put smiles on these children’s faces for at least one day this year.

Wellington

Special Children’s Christmas Party in Wellington

We are working with local charities, schools, community groups and government organizations to help give up to 1800 deserving children in our community an experience they will never forget.

The children invited will be suffering from life threatening illness, physical and intellectual impairment, domestic violence, or living in underprivileged circumstances. Many of these children and their families are struggling to cope and really need support and affection from us.

The goal is simple: To put Smiles on these children’s faces for at least one day this year. These special children will be treated to a Mini Disneyland of celebrity stage shows, fun rides & entertainment, heaps of activities, yummy food & treats.

They will also experience Santa’s toy cave filled with thousands of high quality toys they can choose from!
